Once again, Taylor Swift has picked up honors for Favorite Country Female at the American Music Awards. The starlet snagged the award during Sunday night's (November 18) broadcast from Los Angeles.

The win is Swift's fifth consecutive time to grab the trophy at the AMAs, an event which the superstar described as "unreal" in her acceptance speech.

"I want to thank the fans -- you guys were the ones who voted on this, and you have made this such an amazing couple of weeks for me with 'Red' coming out," she gushed, referencing the release of her brand new album. "We just put some of the dates on sale for the tour, and you guys sold them out in minutes. I'm so stoked. I guess what I'm trying to say right now is I'm really, really happy right now and that's all because of you."

Swift was up against fellow powerhouse country ladies Carrie Underwood (who picked up the win for the award back in 2007) and Miranda Lambert in the Favorite Country Female category.
