Tax Troubles For Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill In Syracuse

Is Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Syracuse in danger of closing? A tax warrant has been placed on the restaurant in Destiny USA after failing to pay over $189,000 in sales tax revenue from 2013.

According to Syracuse.com, the state could either collect the back taxes through bank accounts or by seizing the restaurant. Rumors have been swirling for months, the bar may close.

Toby doesn't actually own the restaurant in Syracuse, but has a licensing agreement that allows the owners to use his name.  I'm sure he won't be happy to hear his name associated with back taxes and a warrant.

I hope this can be straightened out. A number of country stars have graced the stage in Syracuse since it opened and more are planned for the future.
