Chicago Man Sets World Record For Riding Ferris Wheel

This guy really gets around. And around, and around and around. Clinton Shepherd, a manager at the Navy Yard of Chicago, has set a new world record for continuous Ferris Wheel riding having gone round and round, up and down for 48 hours, 8 hours and 25 minutes breaking the old record by over 13 hours. Shepherd--who was given a 5 minute break per hour--stayed awake the entire time. How did he do it?

100 Year Old Runs Full Marathon

After doing 50 minutes on a treadmill I feel a sense of great  accomplishment. Imagine how insufficient I felt when I heard about the 100-year old man who ran and finished a full marathon yesterday in Toronto, Ontario. According to AP Fauja Singh finished the marathon in a little under 8 hours some 6 hours behind the race winner Kenneth Mungara of Kenya.
