You've heard me feature Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson on our "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 a.m., with Waylon & Willie Wednesdays. Today, we're kicking off the Double with the number one song on this day in 1977, "Luckenbach, Texas (Back To The Basics Of Love) by Waylon, with a little help from Willie at the end.

Our Big Frog 104 "Country Classic Double" today at 11:30 a.m. is another "Waylon & Willie" Wednesday. Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, "The Outlaws" had a great friendship and collaboration on a number of songs. One of their best is featured today..."Good Hearted Woman" which went to number one in 1976, and which Waylon  recorded earlier solo in 1972.

Almost every week, it's  a "Waylon & Willie Wednesday" on Big Frog 104's "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 am. And today, it's a special edition, the late Waylon Jenings birthday is today - he would have been 74.
