Spring Break This Week For Many Colleges

This week is spring break for many colleges, and tons of students will be heading to warmer destinations. When I was a student at Utica College years ago, I simply went from being a full-time student to a full-time tour guide at the F.X. Matt Brewery. The farthest south I got on spring break was Waterville! So where do the students go these days?

When my wife and I purchased a winter getaway home in Cape Coral last month we knew we would have to go down and set up shop. We also heard that July in Florida was, to put it mildly, hot enough to melt steel. This past week we experienced that first hand. American's Still Not Taking All Their Vacation Time

However according to StarPress.com American workers are not taking all of the vacation time they are entitled to. For many college students in the area , this week is Spring Break. And have things changed. When I was in college, those who had enough cash and gas in the VW Bug, would head down to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (or Myrtle Beach, South Carolina if the gas money ran out).
