It's going to be an exciting weekend for the City of Utica and the Utica Memorial Auditorium. For the first time ever The AHL has selected our fine city to host one of their biggest events of the year, The AHL All-Star Classic!

"Made In Utica" is a local group that was founded to promote and take pride in all things our city has to offer. With the AHL All-Star Classic coming to the Utica Memorial Auditorium, this local group decided to put together a unique way for businesses to showcase what they have to offer to visiting hockey fans.

While participating in the New York Sash Teddy Bear Toss at the Utica College Hockey game, I was in the bay where the zamboni is usually parked and I happened to catch a glimpse of something that looked awfully familiar. It was the Dierks Bentley "Riser" logo!

Randy Houser is supposed to be one of the openers for Dierks Bentley tomorrow night at the Utica Memorial Auditorium, but will he be well enough to play? He took to twitter yesterday to apologize to fans in Bethlehem, PA because he was feeling "under the weather."

Luke Bryan is going from opening up for Tim McGraw this summer to headlining this fall's CMT On Tour.  And he's coming to Utica.  Josh Thompson, Lee Brice and the winner of 'CMT's Next Superstar,' Matt Mason will join Luke to promote Lukes new CD 'Tailgates & Tanlines' out August 9th. The tour will be at the Utica Memorial Auditorium Saturday September 17th.  General admission tickets are $30
