Several severe storms have rolled through Central New York this afternoon. Especially near Rome, Oneida and Herkimer. A thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 9 tonight. Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 7pm

With the recent heat wave we've had to suffer through, it's nice to have some cooler, wet weather. The plants certainly needed watering.

There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 7 tonight for Western New York, the Southern Tier and parts of Wastern New York. The storm could bring hail, wind gusts up to 70mph and dangerous lightning.
