The idea behind the skit was that Taylor should have been the star of the Super Bowl halftime show rather than Madonna. As for Jimmy's singing, well, I doubt he'll be giving up his night job. Shelton revealed that he will retain last season’s strategy of picking the singers with the most unique and different voices for his team. Obviously, Shelton has no interest in cultivating a poker face during the audition round.
