This is one of those occasions. One of my favorite country bands from the mid-90's, the Mavericks, is back with a new CD called "In Time" and it will released next Tuesday, January 29. They did, and for the next few years the group scored hits and performed to sell-out crowds before disbanding in 2003. Now, according to the Los Angeles Times, the band has reunited and is planning a new tour beginning in 2012 at the Stagecoach Festival ouside of LA.  Lead singer Raul Malo says the time is right.
