One of our Taste of Country Music Festivals hottest performers, Billy Currington, is auctioning off his 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 4X4 for charity. Billy has teamed up with Ram Trucks and a number of other country artists including Kellie Pickler, Easton Corbin and Brantley Gilbert in an effort to raise funds via a truck auction for the charity of their choice. Billy's charity is TeamRubicon USA.

One of the performers at the 2013 Taste Of Country Music Festival, June 13 -15 at Hunter Mountain is the legendary Willie Nelson. One thing about Willie is that he's unique. Willie Nelson has recorded with everyone from Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra to Jimmy Sturr And His (Polka) Orchestra. And in 1978, he recorded my favorite Willie Nelson album, "Stardust", which featured a number of American Standards such as "All Of Me", "Georgia On My Mind" and the title tune, "Sardust".

Joe was just coming into his own with his second album "Man With A Memory", a collection that yielded several big hits.

Have you ever met the one person you were wishing to meet? I was lucky enough to see Billy Currington in Flagstaff Arizona, the same day we moved to town. He happened to be playing around the corner from the radio station. Not only did I get to watch the show, but was fortunate enough to go backstage and say hi. He is so much hotter in person. A little shy, but friendly with eyes that will make you melt. And I don't know about you ladies, but that scruffy, bearded look does it for me every time. All I wanted to do was ask him if I could run my fingers through that curly hair.
