Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles is off the market. The singer quietly married her longtime beau, entrepreneur Justin Miller, in a small ceremony in Tennessee over the weekend. Nettles and Miller have been dating for over two years.

Sugarland is well known for performing "unique" cover songs during their shows including hits by The B-52's, Kings of  Leon and REM among others. Now according to Amnesty International they are contributing a live performance of Bob Dylan's "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" to a  Dylan tribute collection--a 4-CD set--to be released in January, 2012. If you attended their September 4th show at the New York State Fair you got an advance hearing of the song. Sugarland has been named in a suit for the stage collapse in Indianapolis earlier this year.  The accident killed 7 people and injured many others.  Carl Rizzi is one of the lawyers handling the case and spoke to WISH-TV in Indianapolis.
"It's our contention that (Sugarland) had a certain amount of control over whether or not they went on that night, and its our contention that there was some insistence on their part that the show go on," Brizzi said.

Sugarland continues to help with the healing process in Indianapolis.  They returned to Indiana for a free tribute concert Friday.  Jennifer Nettles admitted, they've all been 'changed by what happened' and promised to 'give the best show' they could.

As promised, Sugarland are returning to Indiana for a show in honor of the seven killed and dozens injured when the stage collapsed before an August show at the Indiana State Fair. Friday night’s concert at the Conseco Fieldhouse will benefit the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund.

Sugarland is continuing to take its humanitarian efforts global as they have announced via their website that they will perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert December 11 in Oslo, Norway. The Nobel concert comes close on the heels of Jennifers visit to Guatemala on behalf of the Shalom Foundation, an organization that provides humanitarian aid to the poor in that Central American country. Jennifer and Kristian have been donating a dollar of every ticket sale to Shalom for several years.

Sugarland will take the grandstand stage at the New York State Fair tonight.  It was only a little over three weeks ago, their stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair, killing seven people.  The entire band took time off to heal, then returned to the road to heal together.  They began thier first show back in New Mexico with a moment of silence for the lives lost in the tragedy.

I'm sure they'll take a moment tonight as well.  Then they'll do what they do and rocked the roof off the place.

Sugarland returned to the road after the tragedy at the Indiana State Fair.  They began their show in New Mexico last week by asking for a moment of silence for the lives lost in the stage collapse.

A fan posted a message on Sugarland's website after their show in Salt Lake City Saturday that read 'tribuet to the fallen and the injured before the encore was pure class.'

Sugarland is making plans to help with the healing process in Indianapolis.  The duo wrote a letter on their website about a private memorial being planned as a tribute to the five people who lost their lives in Saturday's stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.  They also have a link to the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund that has been established to help the victims. 

Adam Levine from NBC's 'The Voice' and lead singer of Maroon 5, will be donating all the proceeds from their show that was relocated from the Indiana State Fair to the fund.

A memorial service was held to remember the 5 people killed in Saturday's stage collapse during the Sugarland show at the Indiana State Fair.  Governor Daniels spoke of the lives lost in the tragedy and the heroes who rushed to help those trapped.  He said 'there was a hero every 10 feet on Saturday.'  Check out his speech at the Indiana State Fair memorial
