City Of Utica Declares Snow Emergency Tonight

As you may be aware by our Frogcast today, the Utica-Rome area could see significant snow beginning late this afternoon and continuing overnight (4 - 7 inches possible). In anticipation of the snowfall, the City of Utica is declaring a snow emergency beginning tonight.

Lake Effect Snow Warning Could Bring as Much 18 Inches

Digging out was a familiar site this morning. I managed to get out of the driveway, but didn't make it out of the lane. The guy who plows our drive ended up having to tow us out. I called for a tow truck this morning, but needless to say it would have been hours before they got to me. So like many others this morning, I was a lot late to work.
