Most local kids will be going back to class this Thursday, and that means that all of us have to drive extra carefully. As you may know, drivers must come to a complete stop on both sides of the street when school buses are flashing red lights. The red lights indicate that kids are either getting on or off the bus, and will be crossing the street.

Some like Mohawk and Ilion will open Tuesday. Clinton, Camden and Whitesboro are among those back on Wednesday while others such as Utica, Rome and New Hartford  will meet for the first day on Thursday.
