It's hard to believe as the "Frog Days Of Summer" wind down, that tonight is the last Saranac Thursday of the year. And what a finish! Showtime (featuring our Big Frog friend and colleague James Pond) makes a return engagement on stage to close out the season. All the festivities take place in the parking lot of the F.X. Matt Brewery at the corner of Court and Varick Streets in Utica.

The Fulton Chain Gang takes to the stage tonight with their brand of country music, and if you recall their performance at this year's Big Frog 104 Wildwest Frogfest, you know you're in for an entertaining night.

The weather during the "Frog Days of Summer" has been ideal for so many outdoor events, and it's looking good again for tonight's Saranac Thursday. My good friend and colleague Matt Herkimer and I attended last week's Saranac Thursday to cheer on fellow Frog DJ James Pond and his band. Tonight, music is provided by "Crazy Fools". (hmmmm...I'm glad that wasn't in the same sentence with Matt and me).
