Old man winter gave us a healthy dose of the white stuff recently, a blessing for winter sports enthusiasts still haunted by the memory of last years mostly snowless season. Snowmobilers, skiers, snowboarders and sledders will be out in full force this weekend and safety--especially for the kids--should be of paramount concern. Pedestrian Safety in Spotlight After Fatal Car-Pedestrian Accident

A tragic car-pedestrian accident in Clinton yesterday has left one person dead and another in critical condition. According to WIBX, the accident occurred at the intersection of Route 12-B and Limberlost Road in Kirkland when two people who were walking along the shoulder of the road were hit by a car.
