When a woman says she thinks a certain guy is "hot" , what does she mean? Usually it refers to physical characteristics like a chisled, square jaw or 6-pack abs or "bedroom eyes". My wife and I bowl with a couple who have been together since high school, almost 30 years all told. While I admire them for their commitment I have to wonder how common their situation is, what with the obstacles thrown in the path of high school grads such as going off to college and relocation. I did a little homework and found out that though no definitive statistics are available the number of high school sweethearts who marry is surprisingly small.
