Randy Houser sures knows how to make it hard for a girl to say no to a proposal.  He and Jessa Lee Yantz actually got engaged last month but the ring has been getting worked on every since.

According to PEOPLE, Houser returned the ring to the King Jeweler in Nashville so she could add some personal touches that include more than 300 stones set in 18-karat gold.  That's a LOT of diamonds.  Ladies, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something so big and expensive.  How much do you think that thing cost?  Enough to cover my mortgage for a year or two I'm sure.

Randy Houser is off the market ladies.  He's engaged to singer-songwriter Jessa Lee Yantz.  They are planning to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in the Dominican Republic.  They are not planning on saying when.  Houser told People magazine he 'finally found the person I can't be without,' and says with her he's 'a better person every day.'

Kix Brooks and Randy Houser are filming the movie "To Kill A Memory" in Arizona.  Both entertained the cast with a Nashville style jam session last night and wine from Kix's Arrington Vineyards.

Kix plays Duke Donovan in the Western, which is due out sometime next year.  Randy has a small part in the movie.

Randy Houser is counting his blessings today.  While getting ready for a show in South Carolina, his bus caught fire.  Randy, his band and crew were able to escape without any injuries but the bus was severely damaged.  And the guys lost everything.   The fire didn't stop his performance though.  He still played the show that night.

A compilation of Waylon Jennings songs entitled "The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated to Waylon Jennings Volume 1" will be available on Tuesday February 8th. The tribute collection will feature a number of classic and contemporary country performers including Randy Houser who chose to record "I'm A Ramblin' Man" because it related to his own life.
