Phoenix High School Trying To Cope After Ridge Barden Dies During Game [VIDEO]
October 17, 2011 Grief counselors are are on hand today following the death of a Phoenix high school football player. 16 year old Ridge Barden went down after being hit hard in the third quarter Friday night, during a game with Homer high school. He managed to sit up, but complained of a head ache. Barden then fell over when he tried to get up. He was taken to the hospital where he died from blunt force trauma and bleeding to the brain.
