May 2, 2011 We all remember, as Alan Jackson wrote, where we were when the world stopped turning. I was at home recovering from a surgery when I turned on the TV and saw the news on every station. I called everyone I loved to make sure they were safe and then watched the coverage in amazement. It's a day that will live with everyone, especially those who lost loved ones that fateful day.
Today we'll all remember where we were when we heard the news, justice was finally served and Osama bin Laden was shot and killed. Maybe Alan Jackson will write another song about where we were when the world started celebrating.
