The nightmare is not over yet for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Tony Stewart. It was decided today that the case will move to the decision of a Grand Jury. The case I am referring to is the death of Kevin Ward Jr. who was hit by Stewart back on August 9th in Canandaigua when he exited his car after a wreck. The decision came from Ontario County District Attorney Michael Tantillo.

It's not ALL about points anymore. Sixteen drivers will qualify for the new Chase Grid to determine the Sprint Cup Championship. All of these drivers now have a fair shot at the coveted trophy. It's basically a bracket for NASCAR.

The sponsorship of Dale Earnahrdt Jr. by National Guard will soon be coming to an end. What is the reason? Simple. The marketing budget just won't allow for it.

For the first time in 736 races, Jeff Gordon may have to miss the Coca-Cola 600 tomorrow at NASCAR's longest race. During practice laps on Saturday morning, Gordon was suffering from back spasms and only completed 11 laps.

Not since the death of NASCAR legend, Dale Earnhardt has a car sped around the circuit emblazoned with the #3.  That was over 12 years ago in February of 2001.
