Christmas came early for one central New York family after a 3-year-old girl asked Santa for a new heart for her mom.

***Update*** Abby Derminio tells us the accident happened last Friday (5/6) at around 12:45 p.m. Abby Derminio was driving up Tibbitts Road in New Hartford when she lost control of her vehicle and ended up in a ditch. After the accident she was trapped because her door was jammed. What happened next still has her scratching her head.

A woman named Kate Ogg delivered twins prematurely and one of them, Jamie, did not survive the delivery. When she asked the doctors if she could hold her deceased child, they let her. Thank God they did because you'll never believe what happend two hours later.
