Today is Mardi Gras, the last day for a big blowout before the start of Lent tomorrow. The celebrations have been going on all week in New Orleans including the big "Krewe of Bacchus" parade Sunday with Will Ferrell serving as the grand marshall or "Bacchus XLIV".
