Just about anything you place in your shopping cart these days will have a label printed with the country of origin which is, more often than not, China. According to a new survey by Perception Resource Services better than four out of five shoppers notice the "Made in USA" labels. The question is, does it make a difference in purchasing?

Andy Green started 'American made show and tell' in his kindergarten class. He says 'even at five and six years old, these young Americans soon realized most of their household possessions were imports and they started checking labels at stores. The class even started a bulletin board with a list of American companies in hopes others would join in the crusade.

The company's originator, Charles S. Harden, Sr., was born to a family who moved to Verona in the 1800s. Charles and his family eventually settled in McConnellsville and purchasing a sawmill on Fish Creek. Five generations later the Harden family continues to grow and change in order to best serve their customers who want fine furniture from generation to generation. Many Harden employees have five generations of historical roots in the company as well.

June 7, 2011 Fresh out of the studio, Toby Keith has just finished a new song called, “Made in America.” Toby will debut this powerful new song on the CMT Awards Wednesday, June 8 on CMT (8:00PM ET/7:00PM CT).
