It's already been a good weekend for the Busch brothers. Older brother, Kurt Busch set a track record in winning the pole for tonight's Southern 500. Younger sibling, Kyle meanwhile won from the pole in the Nationwide Series at Darlington and qualified 3rd for the Sprint Cup race. July 11, 2012 Kyle Busch's #18 stock car was on display at the Little Falls McDonald's. Unfortunately, Kyle Busch himself wasn't on hand at the event. He's gearing up for his next NASCAR race in New Hampshire. The folks from Watkins Glen International are gearing up for when NASCAR comes to town August 10th, 11th and 12th. They had racing simulators and a chance to win four tickets to the race at The Glen. Take a look at photos from the event.
Yesterday marked one of the best-named sporting events of our time, “The Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 NASCAR Sprint Cut Race” at the Michigan International Speedway. The entertainment didn’t stop there: during the post-race interviews, a TV cameraman positioned behind Kyle Busch mimed slapping around the third-place finisher in his lens. You know, like when you close one of your eyes and pretend to squish the head of someone in the distance. Cameraman stuff. If only we could see it from his perspective.
June 7, 2011 He may be a senior and eligible for Social Security but apparently you don't mess with NASCAR team owner Richard Childress. According to USA Today NASCAR has fined Childress $150 thousand dollars and placed him on probation for the rest of the year after he alledgedly placed Kyle Busch in a headlock and punched him a number of times after Saturday's Truck Series Event at Kansas Speedway.
