It started as a teenage fashion trend. Then it spread to college campuses. Now it has become a national epidemic. No, I'm not talking about a dangerous new virus but the wearing of PJ's in public. What once was considered lounge wear has now become accepted by a certain segment of the population as appropriate public attire. I know my parents would have rather had someone poke them in the eye with a sharp stick than leave the house looking like they just rolled out of bed and now one parish in Louisiana is considering doing something about it.

It seems like school officials are always playing catch up. Just when it seemed that they had figured out every way to keep kids from bringing cell phones to class the little buggers found a new method of sneaking in their devices, hiding them in their popular Ugg boots. So now officials at a suburban Philadelphia school have taken the next step.
