While most often, the sing-along song is "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", many teams have their own version. One of the great singer-songwriters of both country and pop music, John Denver died in a plane crash fifteen years ago today. He was 53 years old. Denver had written and recorded so many memorable songs, and who knows how many more he might have created. We honor John Denver on today's "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 a.m.

Our "Country Classic Double" today at 11:30 a.m. features singer, songwriter, country and pop star John Denver. On this day back in 1975, the late John Denver's big hit "Back Home Again" was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Where is the sun? If this doesn't go down as one of the cloudiest, wettest Springs to date, it'll come close. Awhile back, Tadpole focused on songs about rain. Maybe if we focus on songs about sun, we'll see some.

It seems obvious to start with Trailer Choir's "Rolling Through The Sunshine." I'm sure they'll sing it when they take the stage at Frogfest this year, where we'll hopefully have lots of sun.
