I admit I didn't watch the Super Bowl yesterday. I kind of flipped around the stations but was fortunate enough to catch pro golfer James Hahn celebrate dropping a putt during the PGA's Waste Management tournament. Those NFL end zone dancers have nothing on James.

Long before Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were wining golf tournaments,  a superstar emerged on the PGA tour who dominated the late 1950s and '60s...Arnold Palmer. Palmer was a fan favorite, and while he faced head-head competition with the "Golden Bear" Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, it was Palmer who had legions of followers referred to as "Arnie's Army".

Finally, a golfer I can relate to. No, I'm not good, but I am left-handed, and Phil Mickelson is one of the most successful left-handed golfers in the history of the PGA. Phil is celebrating his 41st birthday today.
