Chris is a multi-year performer at Frog Fest. We asked him why he loves this event so much and returns to entertain us every year.

Can you believe it? Our Big Frog 104 Wild West Frogfest & Painted Pony Rodeo is Saturday, June 18th at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. And while I've participated in a few Frogfests over the years, Matt Herkimer is the winner and still champion...being a part of all 22 Frogfests, and this marks his 23rd.
Longtime Central New York favorites The Custom Taylor Band will bring their high energy show to The Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. The "CTB" has long been a Frogfest favorite and as the following clip will attest they will have the crowd on their feet!
Wild West FrogFest & Painted Pony Rodeo headliner Rodney Atkins has been busy working on a new album. His latest "Take A Back Road" is the first song off the CD that he expects to have out sometime late summer. He says the songs popularity has grown faster than anyone anticipated, which is a good thing, but now he's working hard to get the rest of the tracks cut for the album and get it out to his fans. So, will he sing the new one at FrogFest? Rodney's reply, "you better know it."
This will by 5th Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo, starring Rodney Atkins, so I thought maybe my favorite moments might be more appropriate than memories. My very first Frogfest was in 2008 with Mark Chesnutt. And it was my first weekend at Big Frog 104.
Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo special guest Rodney Atkins has played just about every kind of venue from honky-tonks to arenas over the course of his career but one stage holds special significance for the Knoxville, Tennessee native, The Grand Ole Opry. Rodney will be playing the Opry on June 21 and this clip of him in action on that fabled stage will give you an idea of what a great show we can expect Saturday at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.
