The Frog Days of Summer have been filled with outdoor activity, and now that September is here, we find other things to do inside. It's that time of year when many bowling leagues begin, and many of you enjoy that participation sport week after week after week.

Another great country act to appear at Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse during the Frog Days of Summer.  Steel Magnolia performs live at 2 o'clock this afternoon.

The Frog Days of Summer keep rolling on, and sometimes we kick back and take things a little easier. However, we still have deep thoughts to ponder. Each day, at the end of my noontime request hour "Greg's Grill", I offer up some food for thought in the form of a thought for the day.

As the Frog Days of Summer wind down, football starts up. I look forward to watching college and NFL football, and many of you enjoy playing it. Whether you play for a school or just like to strike up a game of touch football, technique is everything.

Even though the Frog Days of Summer are winding down, those of us TV viewers can look forward to the new fall schedule of shows. I remember when I was a kid, I always got excited about the new fall lineup; buying the Fall Preview edition of TV Guide and watching all the network promos for the new shows.

The final of the big three Frog Days of Summer is approaching...Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. As we were told a few weeks ago, for the first time in 46 years, Jerry Lewis will not host the annual Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon.

Another celebrity birthday during the Frog Days of Summer! He's done just about everything there is to do on television and has spent more time in front of the camera than any other personality. Today, Regis Philbin celebrates his 80th birthday.

There's plenty of summer fun on the way during the Frog Days of Summer, and many more summer thoughts. During "Greg's Grill", our noontime request hour, I usually wrap things up by saying after having some food for lunch, how about some food for thought.

If you're a baby boomer or just like to watch reruns on TV Land, you know that classic 1960's sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie". Today, the star of that show Barbara Eden celebrates her 77th birthday. The Frog Days of Summer certainly have had their share of celebrity birthdays.

We all have our favorite leisure activity. During the Frog Days of Summer, many of you may enjoy golf, tennis, boating, swimming or just going for a walk. One of my favorite leisure activities is taking our dog Gracie for a walk each day (or should I say, she takes me for a walk).

It's still ice cream season during part two of the Frog Days of Summer. Although, I know some people (not mentioning names) who could eat ice cream right out of the container 12 months a year.

The Frog Days of Summer have been filled with a number of celebrity birthdays, and even our current president. Well, today happens to be our 42nd president's birthday - Bill Clinton is 65 years old today.
