Tonight, American Idol kicks off its 11th season with auditions in Savannah, Georgia. On Thursday, it's off to Pittsburgh for more. The eight audition episodes will also send judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez to Aspen, Galveston, Portland (Oregon), San Diego and St. Louis. The new Simon Cowell show 'The X-Factor' premiered on FOX. The singing competition is open to anyone 12 or older. Solo artists, duos and groups are also allowed. The winner not only receives 500 million bucks but they also get to appear in a Pepsi commercial during the Super Bowl. How cool is that!
