February 25, 2013 For our vacation, we decided to drive south until it was warm enough to play golf. Despite the rain and cool temperatures, the Florida sign is definitely a welcome site. We had two separate Florida vacations. We spent part of it in Daytona Beach, until the Daytona 500 crowd came to town. The other part was spent in St Augustine.
July 28, 2012 When my wife and I purchased a winter getaway home in Cape Coral last month we knew we would have to go down and set up shop. We also heard that July in Florida was, to put it mildly, hot enough to melt steel. This past week we experienced that first hand. The heat and the humidity had us in the car heading to Fort Myers Beach ASAP. Did we find blessed relief?
February 27, 2012 After spending a week in 80 degree weather in Florida, it's hard to adjust to snow and 20 degrees. We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather the entire time we were gone. We enjoyed golfing 4 straight days, jet skiing on the ocean, strolling the streets in Venice and even managed to rest on the beach.
The weather wasn't the only thing we enjoyed in Florida. Whether it was on the golf course or in the backyard, wildlife in Florida is everywhere.
