There probably isn't a more iconic ballpark in Major League Baseball than Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. When someone refers to "The Green Monster", you know they're not talking about "The Incredible Hulk". Yes, the "House That Ruth Built', the former Yankee Stadium was legendary, but they tore it down. On this day, April 20, 1912 Fenway Park opened, and the rest is history.

Sorry Yankee fans but if there was ever a ballpark that deserved a standing "O" it is Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox. The iconic stadium opened on April 20th, 1912 and despite a number of renovations over the years it remains baseball's most intimate and fan friendly venue. If you've never had a chance to visit Fenway or, Yankee fans, if you are allergic to anything Red Sox why not take a tour.
