Well, if you are this calm kitty, it's quite an annoyance. Although, for having a dove (or pigeon) cooing very loudly in its ear, and at times sounding like it is laughing, the cat is very gentle and seemingly relaxed. How calm are your pets? Would your cat not mind if a bird was ruining its catnap?
