Derek Jeter's Florida $12 million mansion--nicknamed "St. Jetersburg" by neighbors-- was completed a year ago and now, according to the New York Daily News, he's facing a property tax bill that would stagger anyone, even someone as wealthy as the Yankee shortstop. And just how much will his 2012 tax bill be for the 7-bedroom, 9-bath waterfront "bungalow"?

Christian Lopez, the 23-year-old fan who scooped up the home run ball after Derek Jeter notched his 3,000th hit and graciously returned it, was expected to be hit with a nasty tax bill for all the Yankees swag he got in exchange for his good deed.
Now companies are stepping up to help.
I'll have to admit I'm not much of a baseball fan, however I am a Derek Jeter fan. Not because he's a Yankee, but because he's a great ball player, seems to be a genuinely nice person and he's easy on the eyes. OMG that man is georgeous and the only reason to ever watch baseball outside of the World Series. Sorry Yankee fans.
