Soldiers Fight Airline Bag Fees and Win [VIDEO]
June 9, 2011 Soldiers returning from Afghanistan are fighting airline fees. The members of the US Army were charged $200 in extra bag fees on the final leg of their trip home to a base in Louisiana. The soldiers were allowed to check 3 bags for free but had to pay the extra fee for the extra bag. The men were so upset about the charges, they made a video and posted it on YouTube. Hours after the video went viral the airline changed its policy, allowing anyone in the military flying coach to check 4 bags at no extra cost. Several other airlines matched the offer.
