Carl Sagan Of The Cosmos
Carl Sagan, astronomer and biologist was born on this day in 1934 and would have been 77 years old today. He died in 1996 but left behind a mountain of fascinating books and television episodes about the universe.
Carl Sagan was one of my heroes; I've read all of his books, have his 13 part award-winning PBS series "Cosmos" on a DVD collection, and I even met and talked with him many years ago. Now, during the "Frog Days of Fall", I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at that series, "Cosmos", which first aired in 1980.
