Everyone loves a good laugh and there were plenty of them this past weekend in San Diego, California, home of the American Laughing Championships. The competition is usually judged on contagiousness, hilarity and technique. Since not all laughs are the same there are several different categories.

Miss Wisconsin Crowned the New Miss America

Miss Wisconsin, 23-year old Laura Kaeppeler, was crowned Miss America for 2012 last night in Las Vegas. Miss New York, Kaitlyn Monte from Staten Island, placed 3rd out of 52 contestants. According to US Weekly the new Miss America had an unusual back story to tell.
