As the star-laced lineup for the 2012 CMA Music Fest is unrolled, it would seem the Country Music Association is saving the most legendary for last. The Association just announced the newest talent slated to set their boots on the stage of Nashville’s LP Field in early June, and they’re undoubtedly adding some of the biggest heavy hitters yet. Among them are legends like Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Ronnie Milsap and the Mavericks, who will be reuniting for the show after almost 10 years apart.

Joanie Koons, a Big Frog 104 listener, and her three friends are getting ready to tear up the Nashville. They're off to the CMA Fest and will be sending us updates, reviews and pictures from the event. Here's her first email.

Shania Twain Gets Star on 'Walk of Fame' and Returns To CMA Fest

Shania Twain is back in a big way. Next Thursday she's in Hollywood to get her star on the Walk of Fame during a ceremony with Bo Derek. Her star will be at 6270 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of W Hollywood Hotel.

Then the next week Shania will return to the annual CMA Musical Festival in Nashville after a 15 year absence. She'll be on hand for the second day of next months four day event. Shania will meet fans and sign copies of her autobiography, "From This Moment On."
