Over the years, you may recall watching TV during the Easter season and all of sudden here comes the "Cadbury Bunny". Those Cadbury Creme Egg commercials with the Cadbury bunny were hilarious, especially the one where they were holding tryouts.

Every year, there's as much buzz about the TV commercials aired in the Super Bowl as the game itself. Over the years, we've seen some great TV commercials and many that totally missed the mark. I have a few favorites, and in my opinion, Anheuser-Busch Budweiser ads seem to be right on.

Time To Make The Donuts

Maybe we're watching a little more TV during the cold "Frog Days of Winter". So, I thought a look back at another classic TV commercial might be in order. Remember the "Time To Make The Donuts" ad campaign for Dunkin' Donuts back in the 1980s? The commercials featured a baker who had to keep going back and forth to work so he could make the donuts. After a while during the 1980s, you'd here people refer to their trek to work by saying "time to make the donuts".

Sometimes while watching TV during the "Frog Days of Fall", the sentiments expressed in a TV commercial may capture the spirit of the holidays. Year's ago in the McShea household, we recorded "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and one of the commercials on our homemade tape featured a little girl and Ronald McDonald. It got to the point where we preferred to watch that recorded version of the Charlie Brown show, so that we could see the McDonald's TV commercial with Lindsay and Ronald.
