The "Fast As You" singer performed two sold out shows at Nashville's iconic Ryman Auditorium last Friday and had the ladies screaming for more when he performed his signature "hillbilly moonwalk". Never let it be said that 76 year old Jerry Lee Lewis has led anything but a colorful life. CNN reports that "The Killer" has now married for a seventh time, this time to his cousin Rusty Brown's ex-wife Judith. Keeping it all in the family seems to be a Jerry Lee trait as you might remember his marriage to 13-year old Myra Brown--Rusty's sister--back in 1958, a move that nearly cost him his career.

George Jones defines the word "optimist". Having recently (September 12) celebrated his 80th birthday "The Possum" announced an ambitious 2012 tour schedule encompassing some 45 shows. While George continues to look forward we are reminded of just how long he has been a part of the country music scene as today, October 29th, is the 56th anniversary of his first song to hit the charts, "Why Baby Why". While we weren't able to unearth a performance of the song featuring George In his "flat-top" days I hope you enjoy this version of that classic song.
