New Concussion Law in Effect
It has become the number one topic among athletes--young and old--and athletic department administrators across the country. It is the concussion. As more and more cases of concussion are being reported and evaluated New York State has passed the Concussion Management Awareness Act which, according to YNN, states that "Anyone suspected of a concussion must be immediately removed from play. And they're not allowed to return until they're symptom free for 24 hours and cleared by a doctor."
