Today we kick off our "Country Classic Double" with the "Silver Fox", Charlie Rich. On this day back in 1973, "Behind Closed Doors" was the number one song on the country charts, and a big hit on pop charts. Charlie Rich was one of those performers like Kenny Rogers and others, who had appeal to both audiences.
