This is a really, really cute video. A person is playing a guitar, and the cat is responding after a cord or two. The cat is responding with a little squeak noise. I used to love when my cat made this noise. It's not a full meow, just a tiny, tiny squeak. My cat used to make this squeak sound when he was looking out the window at birds. Check out this video. It has everything a cute animal video should have--first, it's cute, and second, it's funny. Perfect.

When it was time for my cat to eat, he would meow so loud and when you were about to put the bowl of food down on the floor for him, he would nearly knock it out of your hand. Have you ever received a singing birthday card? You know, the ones you don't know have any sort of sound until you open them and they start playing a song or a sound effect? In this video, the singing birthday card is playing the 'happy birthday song' sung with cat meows. And, the cat in the house, well, needless to say, is not very impressed with the birthday card. It's been a few weeks since we brought home a kitten and introduced her to our dog Molly. At first the two didn't get along very well. The dog just wanted to sniff her and the cat would just hiss at the dog. Oh how time changes everything. Both are use to each other now and spend a lot of time playing together. That is until the cat catches a claw in the dogs tail and then playtime is over.

We have a new addition to our family. We picked up this cute little kitten over the weekend. Ironically, Matt and his wife picked up a new pet this weekend too. They adopted a cat from the humane society and named her Fenway, since Matt's wife is a Boston Red Sox fan. Our newest member of the family remains nameless. I thought of boots for her white paws, but that's so common. I'd rather pick something unique. Any suggestions?

I've often wondered what pets do when they are all alone during the day when the humans are at work. Could they actually watch TV? Could they turn on the radio? Could they answer the phone if it rings? From my experiences of leaving animals home, they usually can't turn on the television, but they sure can tear up the furniture. Check out this video. And, according to its website, the project, "is a public service ad campaign focused on spreading the word that pets in shelters are wonderful and lovable, and encouraging potential adopters to consider the shelter as the first place to look when acquiring a “new best friend.” I have to say, the ads are pretty funny, especially this one.
