Texas Highway To Have 85 MPH Speed Limit

It's said that Texas has miles and miles of open road which is probably one of the reasons the Texas Transportation Commission has approved the 85 mph speed limit for a 41-mile-long toll road near the Interstate 35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio. The AP reports that while most highway speed limits top out at 75 MPH and a few in rural areas of Texas and Utah are set at 80 the new Texas limit would be the nations highest. Not everyone favors the change.

It's been a while but as I recall the most difficult part of my first learners permit test was trying to parallel park. The three point turn was no walk in the park either but parallel parking was the moment of most pressure. Apparently this was not the case for a Chinese driver named Han Yue who according to CarsGuide.com set a Guinness Book ofWorld Records mark for parking his Mini Cooper in a space that was only 15 centimeters larger than his car.
