He died in 1996 but left behind a mountain of fascinating books and television episodes about the universe.

Carl Sagan was one of my heroes; I've read all of his books, have his 13 part award-winning PBS series "Cosmos" on a DVD collection, and I even met and talked with him many years ago. Now, during the "Frog Days of Fall", I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at that series, "Cosmos", which first aired in 1980.
