Canadarago Lake Named Major Inland Lake
July 24, 2012 If you have ever taken a drive down Route 28 between Route 20 and Cooperstown you have no doubt noticed beautiful Canadarago Lake. It is, according the the state DEC "one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in the state". It provides recreational activities such as boating, fishing and swimming to its surrounding residents and the general public at Baker's Beach. Now the Daily Star reports it has been declared a "major inland lake" by New York State. What does this mean?
