6:03 p.m. - Authorities are reporting that the third fatality of yesterday's bombing is being identified as a Boston University graduate student.

Two separate security issues at New York's LaGuardia and Boston Logan airports affected hundreds of passengers. Andy McKechnie tweeted the whole incident in Boston while sitting in a plane on the runway.

8-year-old Martin Richard was near the finish line, waiting to give his father a hug for finishing the Boston Marathon, when he was killed in the explosion. Martin's mother, Denise, was hospitalized with 'grievous injuries,' The Times of London reported. She underwent surgery for an injury to her brain. The bombings at the Boston Marathon killed three people, including an 8-year-old boy waiting at the finish line to see his dad.  Several tribute videos have been put together for the victims of the blast and their families.  Beware, some graphic photos are included in these tributes.

Flags are flying at half mast locally for the three people killed in the Boston Marathon bombing.  All local runners are presumed safe.  If you know someone who took part in the race, you can search for them at the Boston Marathon website or on Google search.

Three people were killed and more than 100 injured on Monday afternoon when two explosions went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
