All the Nashville stars are in town for tomorrow night's CMA Awards Show. From backstage, Butter from Trailer Choir offers some updates on the band and Big Vinny's progress on NBC's Biggest Loser.
Trailer Choir's Big Vinny Hickerson doesn't want to be 'rockin' the beer gut' anymore. Vinny who tips the scale at 426 pounds is taking part in the new season of NBC's 'The Biggest Loser' which begins tonight at 8.
In Vinny's 'Meet the Cast' video he talks about gaining weight at the age of 9. He grew up with an abusive father and was at 300 pounds by grade 8. Vinny's goal is to be a solid 250 pounds by the end of the season. He also wants to be able to take his fiance's son back to Universal Studios where he couldn't get on the Harry Potter ride because he weighed too much.
Trailer Choir's Big Vinny Hickerson will be one of this seasons contestants on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" premiering September 20th. A big favorite at past Frogfest's Big Vinny encountered unspecified health problems earlier this year which forced Trailer Choir to bow out of this years "Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo".
The Biggest Loser will crown another winner tonight on NBC. Last year's winner Patrick House who first weighed in at 400 pounds when he first started, is still looking great today. He ran his first marathon in October and took part in the Boston marathon last April. He even got to accomplish his goal of riding roller coasters.
If you're a Biggest Loser fan on NBC, you'll remember the first female winner, Ali Vincent. She lost 112 pounds in Season 5 to grab the title and she's managed to keep the weight off. Ali now travels the country sharing her story and secrets to losing weight, which she says is really no secret at all. She continues to eat healthy, workout and she's written a book about everything she learned on the ranch. The one thing I took from talking with her is to keep changing things up.
