One of the signature Central New York summer events, The Utica Maennerchor Bavarian Festival, kicked off last night and continues through the weekend. Great food--including many German favorites--music and drink--again, including many German favorites-- make this annual festival behind the club on Flanagan Road in Marcy a favorite family fun event. In case you have never been to it here is a little primer on how to respond to the "Ein Prosit" (Good health, cheers) toast which is offered numerous times throughout the day and night.
