I'm a walker, not a runner, and from what I'm told, a brisk walk is good for your health. I like to walk because it doesn't take much equipment or expense - just a good pair of sneakers and warm clothing if it's cold outside. Today is "National Walking Day".

Roads Closing During America's Greatest Heart Run And Walk

Drivers who travel along the route of the America’s Greatest Heart Run and Walk course are urged to be patient, as several roads will be closed or only accepting local traffic. More than 9,000 runners will be on the roads, taking part in this year’s 42nd annual event.
